ECHO-project: following the 2021 e-conference entitled "Wilderness - City - Virtual Reality: Environmental Aesthetics in Action" Luca Cserhalmi and Kinga Lendeczki initiated the ECHO-project in 2022 to ensure that environmental aesthetics, as a leading and progressive field of research in aesthetics on the international scholarship, receives increasing attention in Hungary: they organized the conference "Echo - The Aesthetic Approach to Nature" in 2022, then the conference: "Echo - The Civilized Nature: Aesthetics in Theory and Practice" in 2024, both at the Trafó House of Contemporary Arts in Budapest. The third Echo-conference is planned to be held in Szeged in 2026 (see "Events" sub-menu). Based on the presentation delivered at the conferences, two volumes edited by Luca Cserhalmi and Kinga Lendeczki were published by Kijárat Publishing, moreover the first Hungarian anthology in environmental aesthetics edited by Endre Szécsényi and Botond Csuka (see "Publications" sub-menu). As the porceedings of the two-day international workshop entitled "The Abyss of Time" and held in the framework of the project "Perspectives in Environmental Aesthetics" in 2025 (see below), a collection of English-language papers will be published by Palgrave Macmillan (eds.
